Johnson/Evinrude/OMC DuraTank 6 Gallon Portable Fuel Gas Tank - Marine Outboard Motor Gasoline Storage Container for Boating, Fishing & Water Sports (Model 5008621)

Very expensive but outstanding quality.Haven't started to use it yet. Have bought it as a replacement of my 20 years old tank. It seems ok being a design of original OMC but there is something which looks faulty from the engineering point of view : You have to attach a brass male connector into a plastic female. With such incompatibility of material how long it may last depends on the skill of the user.In any case, the company had to design the female part on the tank with a threaded brass liner rather then plastic only threads.Probably the only tank dimensionally compatible for spaces designed for the old style metal 6gal. Tanks. Doesn't leak but can be hard to open after use. I don't think the pressure relief valve functions as well as it should. Tighten to 1 click only if you want to easily open after it has been drained.
