The listing does not mention that this is more of a wrap shirt than a regular tank top type shirt. It is attached at the top of the bust but it is open on the bodice. I would worry that I might accidentally expose myself if I bend over or if a strong breeze comes through. It is a bit big for me. I have a 38b chest and had plenty of room in this shirt. I probably could have ordered at least a size down. The gathered part at the bottom just hung down in an odd way. Could possibly work well as a maternity shirt. The fabric is light and soft. Not too sheer but it does have a bit of sheerness to it. You don't need to wear a camisole underneath it unless you wear dark colored undergarments. This shirt was just an odd fit for my body type. If it were a better fit, I bet it would be very cute when styled with cute accessories.
