The cylinder heater runs at 120 volts, 120 watts, and 1.0 amp. Powerblanket has changed the conventional method of transferring heat to gas cylinders. This revolutionary design optimizes container pressure and increases cylinder efficiency. It heats the cylinder to a preset, reliable temperature of 90 ºF / 32 ºC (± 10 ºF / 5 ºC). This is a well designed and constructed item. We bought it so we could barbecue outside in the winter. Even with good propane flow, the heat loss from the uninsuladed grill cover is so great that searing temperatures can not be achieved. Will have to add high temperature insulation.
